Read your business voicemail when you can’t listen. Numberline turns voicemail messages into text and emails them to you, so you can see what customers need and follow up.
Transcripts on every plan · Recording kept with every message · Call back from the business number
“Hi, this is Dana. I’m calling to see if you have an appointment available Thursday morning. Please give me a call back.”
Voicemail transcription converts a recorded voicemail into readable text. When a customer leaves a message on your business number, Numberline records it, writes out what the caller said, and delivers both, so you can read the message in a meeting or after hours and listen to the recording when you need to.
Every voicemail includes the recording and a transcript. Grow and Max also include an AI summary in the email. Transcription can make mistakes with names, numbers, and unclear audio, so the recording is always kept with the message. Compare plans →
The caller’s actual voice, kept with the message. Play it in the app or open the MP3 attached to the email.
What the caller said, written out in their own words. Read it when you cannot listen.
In the email on Grow and Max: one line above the transcript with what the caller wants and when they need a callback.
One message from start to callback: Dana calls Reyes Plumbing, nobody can pick up, and she leaves a voicemail.
When your unanswered-call or after-hours rules send a call to business voicemail, the caller hears your voicemail greeting and leaves a message. It is recorded on the business number, not on anyone’s personal phone. What happens when nobody answers →
The message is transcribed and sent to the places you chose for that extension: the Numberline inbox, an email with the transcript and the recording attached, and on Grow and Max a Slack notification. You choose which addresses receive each extension’s voicemails.
Read the transcript, play the recording if a detail matters, then call Dana back from the message in the Numberline app. The app places the call over the internet from your business number, so Dana sees the business, not your personal number. Calls made from your personal cellular line show your personal number. To call using your Numberline business number, start the call in Numberline.
